- Establish and deliver the regional sustainability strategy and KPIS’s, fully aligned with Tate’s corporate objectives and the global sustainability strategy, ensuring a clear link between environmental priorities and commercial LEC growth.
- Present sustainability insights, progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring actions are measurable and commercially relevant.
- Act as the technical SME for sustainability, providing expert knowledge on embodied carbon, LCA methodologies, EPD requirements, circularity metrics, and regulatory developments in EMEA and the Middle East.
- Partner closely with product management and engineering to shape the LEC product roadmap using environmental data and market expectations.
- Equip commercial teams with clear, credible sustainability proof points to strengthen Tate’s LEC value proposition in customer engagements, tenders, and strategic account conversations.
- Build sustainability‑related tools, comparisons, and narratives that demonstrate the benefits of Tate’s LEC solutions versus conventional alternatives.
- Act as an active member of the commercial pitch and tender team, joining customer meetings, bid presentations, technical workshops, and project briefings to confidently articulate the environmental and commercial advantages of the LEC route.
- Engage directly with customer stakeholders—including sustainability leads, procurement, and technical decision‑makers—to influence the selection process and strengthen Tate’s position in competitive bid environments.
- Operate as a visible, trusted expert who can translate complex sustainability data into compelling and persuasive arguments during live discussions and negotiations.

- Lead the development, management, and communication of LCAs, EPDs, carbon data sets, and sustainability datasets that underpin commercial messaging.
- Translate technical environmental data into simple, compelling insights for customers, internal teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Recommend relevant sustainability certifications or accreditations that enhance external credibility.
- Provide data, insights, and recommendations that help procurement and production evaluate materials and processes.
- Clarify that accountability for sustainable practices, material decisions, and factory deployment rests with Procurement and Production, with this role acting as a technical advisor and collaborator.
- Lead Tate’s circularity messaging and contribute to circular product and process innovation initiatives with strong, region‑specific proof points.
- Support R&D by embedding sustainability metrics into new product development frameworks.
- Support key customer conversations by presenting Tate’s sustainability strategy, LEC performance, and environmental impact improvements.
- Prepare sustainability content for bids, proposals, and commercial presentations in collaboration with sales and marketing.
- Represent Tate at global sustainability and data center events, conferences, and forums.
- Deliver presentations, participate in panel sessions, and act as a public-facing expert on Tate’s sustainability credentials.
- Enable commercial, product, and engineering teams by providing training, guidance, and tools to help them confidently articulate Tate’s sustainability and LEC value proposition.
- Support internal alignment and knowledge sharing across global regions, without direct responsibility for regional team management.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Construction, or related discipline; Master’s/Postgrad preferred.
- 5–8 years of sustainability experience within manufacturing, building materials, data centers, or a similar technical/industrial sector.
- Strong expertise in LCA, EPD development, carbon accounting, and embodied carbon standards.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership and external customers, with the ability to simplify technical insights.
- Proven ability to support commercial teams with sustainability‑driven value propositions.
- Confidence representing the company at external events, conferences, and industry forums.
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, and comfort working independently across multiple priorities.
- Experience in data center infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, or building products
- Knowledge of EU and Middle East sustainability regulations relevant to construction and manufacturing.
- Experience with sustainability certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, C2C or ISO 14001.
- Experience in the data center, industrial manufacturing, or building products sectors.
