- Along with the General Manager, provide strategic direction and leadership to the entire hotel team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and guest satisfaction.
- To hold daily briefings in areas of responsibility to ensure effective communication with department managers
- Delivering exceptional customer service and inspiring your team to exceed all guest expectations
- Forecasting of business relating to events in the area and overseeing an operations roster to include Duty Managers, Supervisors, Food and Beverage and Conferencing team members.
- Training and mentoring of staff, continuing a culture of continuous improvement and upskilling
- Driving sales initiatives within the property in conjunction with the sales and marketing team
- Co-ordinating the Health & Safety agenda of the property
- Cash handling, card transactions, banking and transaction and sales reporting
- Management of costs efficiently, with the ability to meet or exceed budgetary targets
