- Manage a multi-disciplined project team made up of chemists, scientists and engineers to ensure the successful introduction of new products to the site.
- Manage new and ongoing projects ensuring scope management, budget and schedule adherence.
- Primary point of contact for Customer Project Team and Business Development Team for all project communications. Responsible for management of project communications across the business and with the Customer.
- Coordination with local and network functions to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Win new business by supporting the Business Development team in the sales process, including proposal development, customer presentations, visits, tours, contract negotiations etc.
- Lead the development and submission of proposals for new projects, working closely with site functions and within the SK Pharmteco network to meet customer expectations and find solutions for technical challenges.
- Preparation of project costings and writing new product proposals.
- Continuously improve PM processes and approaches, and support the site business effectiveness and operational excellence programs.
- Represent the PM team at relevant local and global meetings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, having the talent to build relationships, lead and influence colleagues within SK and with Customer representatives and teams
- Aptitude for customer dedication and service; maintaining customer relationships while advocating for the business.
- Ability to understand customer needs, assimilate large volumes of complex information and challenge the status quo to lead the development of creative solutions to project challenges
- High levels of motivation, agility and flexibility, with an ability to work effectively both in a team environment and on own initiative
- Ability to work with multiple multi-level stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, while delivering clear communication and outstanding levels of customer service.
- Batchelor's degree in a relevant area (e.g. Science/Engineering).
- Commercial and numerical aptitude required.
- Project management experience
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in a customer-facing role or role with significant external interactions an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project milestones to ensure project deliverables.
- Advanced degree in a relevant area.
- Languages - Fluent English
