- You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
- You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the associate director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
- Support the project and programme management lead in the overall execution of the project's delivery, bringing the necessary project management skills and experience that will integrate with the existing TII project team to ensure that the project directorate plans, tracks and delivers against the project's programme and budget.
- Provide support in the management of significant work packages/elements of the project to the defined time, cost, quality and outputs’ benefits, including the coordination of the activities of all functions in relation to the delivery of the project within the timeline and costs as set out in the preliminary business case.
- Provide project management support in regards the following key activities; the mobilisation and onboarding of client partner resources within project directorate, the establishment of the project directorate PMO and the establishment and development of the information management framework.
- In addition, the project manager shall provide project management support in relation to the procurement of the core contracts, assisting with the completion of tender design and all related documentation, the development
- and coordination of relevant inputs into the production of procurement documents.
- You will manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges and mitigations.

- You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
- You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
- You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.
- 10+ years’ experience within large scale infrastructure projects at least 5 years’ experience carrying out project management activities across the project lifecycle through to completion in high value metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale/complexity from an engineering and or construction perspective.
- Ability to manage technical outputs to drive efficiency.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service.
- BEng/BA/BSC in a related discipline ideally from construction management and related discipline.
- Degree/diploma/certification in system integration and assurance.
- Prior experience of cost management for multiple projects and/or programmes and developing standard operating procedures.
- Tangible experience of driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards.
- In-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural/engineering/construction sectors.
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.
- Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
- Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
