- Assist in managing the daily operations of the bar to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Supervise and support bar staff during service, ensuring efficient and professional operations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout the bar area.
- Monitor stock levels, ensure effective stock rotation, and assist with stock control procedures.
- Support the Bar Manager with ordering, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene, health and safety, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to upsell beverages and maximise bar revenue.
- Handle cash management procedures including floats, tills, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor and communicate closely with the Duty Manager, kitchen, and Food & Beverage team.
- Ensure full compliance with Irish liquor licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol.
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience in a similar hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
