SOUTH DONEGAL.Our client is an award-winning Destination Resort, Spa and Wedding Venue.
A long list of enviable and prestigious awards has been received by this fabulous property throughout the years.
To further augment their existing team, they wish to make a key hire of a Reservations Supervisor.Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Reservations Team and support the Revenue Manager in the daily operations of the department.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure reservations are processed in a pleasant and professional manner.
Maximise room revenue and ensure the revenue targets are met.
Manage incoming calls for day to day reservations and advanced bookings in an efficient and pleasant manner.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel's rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, and guest services.
Monitor and check individual reservations, measuring accuracy, detail and price
Assist with training and development of the team
Work closely with all departments ensuring guest amenities and special requests are communicated to the relevant department and that guest information is kept up to date to enhance personalised serviceWhat we are looking for:
A proven track record in reservations is an advantage
Knowledge of property management systems, hotsoft would be an advantage
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook and Excel a distinct advantage
Possess a good command of the English language and the ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests
Fluency in a second language would be preferrable but not essentialBenefits:
