Barden are proud to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing organisation who are seeking an experienced, hands on finance manager to take ownership of management accounting, financial reporting, and operational support during a 12-month maternity cover. You'll lead a small team, work closely with senior finance stakeholders, and play a key role in maintaining a strong financial control environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and wants to make a meaningful impact from day one.Responsibilities include:

Managing and developing the Finance Team
Oversee monthly close activities and ensure accurate, timely reporting and related analysis
Deliver margin analysis, commercial insights, and monthly reports.
Drive process improvements, support audits, and strengthen controls.

ABOUT THE PERSONYou will be a ACA/ACCA trained accountant (or equivalent) with 4+ years post-qualified experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced industry environment.You'll bring:

Strong knowledge of financial reporting
Proven experience managing or mentoring others
Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
A practical, hands-on approach with a collaborative mindset
