We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Old County store in CrumlinThis is a 40-hour permanent position with the stores opening hours operating between 8.30a.m. to 7p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.The team currently comprises a Managing Pharmacist, 2 Support Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist, 4 Technicians, and 3 Healthcare Advisors.This store has manageable items and services.We can offer you:

The responsibilities of the role

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements:

Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
