This is a position that offers experience along with training opportunities that would be provided by Athy Community Council. Cleaning duties for this position includes: Clean and stock designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling, washroom cleaning, etc). Clean staircases. Clean toilets. Perform and document activities. Notifying management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. Follow all health and safety training. Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all “safe systems of work” & risk assessment directions Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times Comply with all statutory Health & Safety Rules and Regulations Comply with all health & safety regulations for cleaning materials, equipment, and buildings. Provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene, and appearance. Wear PPE provided. This position is required the person to work in a busy centre at evenings.
