Solar Energy Sales Consultant - Wicklow/Wexford RegionAre you passionate about renewable energy and driven by sales success? With demand for residential solar at an all-time high, we're expanding our field sales team and looking for motivated professionals to help homeowners take control of their energy future.
The RoleAs a Solar Energy Consultant, you'll meet homeowners across Ireland to deliver expert advice and tailored solar PV solutions. From initial site assessments to presenting detailed proposals, you'll show customers how solar can reduce their bills, unlock SEAI grants, and make a real environmental impact.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-person consultations and assess property suitability for solar PV.
  • Prepare and present customised proposals covering system design, savings, grant eligibility, and ROI.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by closing deals confidently.
  • Manage your pipeline professionally through our CRM system.
  • Attend community events and local marketing activities to generate leads.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and excellent customer experience.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in residential/field sales (solar, energy, or home improvements desirable).
  • Strong communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently on the road.
  • Technically minded with an ability to learn solar basics and grant schemes (full training provided).
  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Desirable:
  • Experience in solar PV or energy efficiency sales.
  • Knowledge of SEAI grants and Ireland's energy market.
