- Leading sales projects, including contract negotiations for the technical product part, in close coordination with the responsible Corporate Sales Organization and taking into account the segment's targets.
- Independently managing sales projects, acquiring new customers and developing customer loyalty.
- Taking accountability for and preparing proposals, quotations, business planning and risk assessment.
- Preparing for risk analyses as part of segment risk management, presenting and evaluating risk profile.
- Drafting contracts in accordance with the requirements of the business unit and negotiating with customers.
- Developing and coordinating customer specific solutions and sales strategies.
- Collecting and analyzing competition information, deriving and implementing measures.
- Advising segment and department management on alternative courses of action and risks within the sales process.
- Taking accountability for the transition from the acquisition phase to contract fulfillment.
- Attending customer visit.
- University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience within sales respectively at customer interface preferably in the field of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Knowledge of a further language or German is advantageous
- High degree of intercultural competency
- International experience preferable
- Excellent customer service skills with customer-oriented attitude, and a strong ability to build close relationships with customers
- Like working with people, solving problems, and developing yourself by being challenged in your day-to-day work
- Ability and self-driven motivation to adapt and solve complex challenges and new ways of business
- Possess a strong character with the distinction to develop and drive business and customer relationships forwards
- Able to travel within the region
- Acceptance of international assignments and very frequent business trips
