Stelfox is exclusively partnering with a technology provider who is entering Dublin/Ireland for the first time to establish a Technology & Support Hub.This new team will be focused on creating new features for core web & mobile solutions for the food delivery sector (POS/ePoS tech, Online ordering platform, Third party API integrations, Web & native mobile applications).As one of the first hires, we are looking to recruit a Lead Engineer (to effectively become the Software Manager) to design and architecture various web & mobile services and managing a team of 4-5 engineers when working on end-to-end development work from PoC through to pushing into production.This team will work across a technology stack consisting of Web (ES6+, Typescript, Node.js, React), Mobile (React Native, Flutter) and running on AWS infrastructure.As a Lead Engineer, you will have:
  • 8-10+ years commercial experience across software engineering, from design/architecture through to deployment of services.
  • Strong background in either Typescript / ES6+ / Node.js and AWS or React Native / Mobile architecture.
  • Strong coding standards and approach to best practice
  • Strong REST API / API integration experience
  • Ability & interest to lead / manage a small engineering team and be the focal point for the team during code reviews, 1-2-1's as the role become the defacto Manager/leader for the team.
Preferred experience:
  • Cross Platform Development - Flutter, Kotlin, ioS
  • Backend development - Node.js and Express for building scalable server-side applications.
  • Architecture knowledge - understanding of micro-frontend architecture
  • GraphQL & gRPC - exposure to integrating with GraphQL & gRPC
