- Oversee all construction activities across multiple water infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers with a strong focus on quality and productivity.
- Ensure strict adherence to Irish Water standards and specifications across all project stages.
- Lead Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and legal standards on all sites.
- Oversee all elements of civil works, particularly water mains installation, pipelines, reservoirs, and pumping stations.
- Collaborate with design, planning, and environmental teams to identify risks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure site records, contract documentation, and project progress reporting are accurate and up to date.
- Manage and monitor budgets, materials, and timelines for optimal performance.
- Support handover processes and liaise with clients and local authorities.
- Promote GMC’s values, including quality, safety, environmental responsibility, and customer service.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent construction experience (essential).
- At least 5 years’ experience managing civil or utilities projects, ideally water-related.
- Experience in the installation of large-diameter water mains, pipelines, or water infrastructure works is highly desirable.
- Full clean driver's license (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Irish Water specifications and standards is a significant advantage.
- Previous experience as a Civil Foreman or Site Manager welcomed.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
