In this role, you will define and perform user acceptance tests (UATs) for stories, review documentation, and confirm feature testing is complete. You will be part of an R&D team building commercial solutions for numerous Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, SQL Server, etc.
You will employ exploratory testing or other test methods to manually test features prior to automation
You will be part of the entire sprint iteration on an agile feature team and be responsible for story closure and the overall quality of the feature
You will be part of an agile SCRUM team, working collaboratively with all other members, and be motivated to take ownership of increasing quality and reducing defect rates
You will take ownership and drive test and automation goals for the team

QualificationsRequired:

You should possess a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent
You should have a minimum of 4 years working as a quality control or assurance engineer testing within an agile development team
You should be capable of taking ownership of the testing and closure of stories to ensure every feature has high quality
You should possess working experience using one or more of the following test methodologies: acceptance, automated, security, scalability, usability, reliability, performance
You should possess working knowledge of Active Directory or Entra ID
You should possess working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems such as Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 or Windows 10/11
You should possess a general understanding of Windows networking infrastructure so that the candidate can fully configure a Windows operating system to work on a network
You should have working knowledge of one or more of the Office 365 workloads: Exchange Online/SharePoint Online/OneDrive
You should have working knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure VMs) including being capable of creating a virtual machine and installing a Microsoft operating system
You should be able to work in a DevOps environment with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira with complete test integration in the pipeline
You should possess excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
You should possess good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
