- Preparation of all monthly financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and revenue reconciliations.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide regular management reports.
- Produce accurate and timely month-end management accounts and commentary to the Finance Director.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and offer recommendations.
- Monitor and report on essential financial performance indicators such as sales, gross margin, and turnover.
- Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
- Dealing with international counterparts on the year-end close, intercompany recharges and annual audit process.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Circa 3+ years PQE, ideally within an SME environment
- Experience within the bloodstock sector a distinct advantage
- The ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Strong Excel skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to deliver efficiencies and improvements
