RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and international candidates across hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care settings.We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 1-Day Procedure Unit for a hospital based in Limerick, Ireland.
Full-time (37.5 hours per week) | Permanent
(This role will initially commence on a part-time basis, with a planned transition to full-time as the department expands)Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for service users in collaboration with the CNMII, in line with organisational standards.
  • Deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional codes of conduct and clinical guidelines.
  • Practice nursing in compliance with current legislation and evidence-based standards.
  • Effectively manage an individual caseload, prioritising care based on service user needs.
  • Promote and apply evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
  • Engage with patients, families, and carers to provide support, guidance, and person-centred care.
  • Support team leadership by contributing to staff motivation and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant nursing documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to professional standards.
  • Contribute to quality improvement through participation in clinical audits, development of protocols, and adherence to scope of practice and clinical governance principles.
Requirements
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a clinical nursing role within an acute care setting.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in surgical nursing (desirable).
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (desirable).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence, with evidence of ongoing continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Flexible approach to work schedules and service demands.
