Their focus is high quality meals to be produced in Co. Monaghan. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the Quality team to manage the site food quality, safety and compliance in line with all legal and customer requirements. They will also work in collaboration with the Production and Maintenance teams, and report into the Technical Manager.The company are keen to speak with experienced Quality professionals from within food production, who have experience leading a team of 5-10 members with strong leadership abilities and a drive to succeed. Experience of working with large Irish retailers is also desirable.Requirements:Previous Quality Management experience within food manufacturing setting, experience with ready-meals would be advantageous.Hold a 3rd level qualification in a Food Science related subject.Have a demonstratable comprehensive knowledge of auditing, quality standards and systems, quality management techniques such as HACCP, Process Control, knowledge of food legislation, GFSI standards including BRC.Happy working in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines.Able to lead by example and be a great communicator.Able to project manage.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Manage the Quality team ensuring best performance and collaboration with relevant departments.Manage, implement, monitor and suggest any improvements for the Food Safety Management System.Provide technical expertise and identify and drive continuous improvement.Support the site HACCP / TACCP.Reviewing and trending site microbiological results, identifying adverse results and co-ordinating effective corrective actions and validations.Conduct audits, ensure all records and documentation up to standard.
