- Help government and public sector clients design and carry out procurement and category strategies, supporting the full procurement cycle-from planning and tendering to contract management and supplier performance improvement.
- Build and manage strong relationships with client executives and project sponsors. Lead meetings with steering committees and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
- Oversee the delivery of projects, manage risks and issues, and ensure projects stay on track with budget, scope, and timelines
- Lead project teams, providing coaching, knowledge sharing, and support for junior team members to help them grow professionally.
- Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, supporting proposal writing, and helping grow our public sector Supply Chain consulting practice.
- You hold a degree (or professional qualification) in Business, Supply Chain, Strategy, Technology, or a related area.
- You have significant experience in public sector procurement under EU procurement regulations, ideally from a consulting background.
- You understand category management and have experience developing sourcing strategies and applying them in practice.
- You're able to spot business opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and support successful bid outcomes.
- You bring a strategic mindset and practical experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and managing organisational change.
- You understand the key challenges facing Irish public sector organisations and are familiar with the strategies being used to address them.
