Alongside core design work, the role includes estimation, materials planning, and occasional office support during quieter periods.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign custom packaging solutions using CAD softwareProduce drawings, layouts, and design documentationSupport CAD-based cost estimationCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Liaise with production, purchasing, and commercial teamsProvide general office support (e.g. purchasing assistance) when requiredSoftwareImpact CAD (training provided)Experience with AutoDesk or similar CAD software is highly transferableAbout YouIdeally 1-2 years' experience in design engineering or a related fieldOpen to candidates with strong CAD skills and relevant project experiencePractical, adaptable, and comfortable in an SME environmentWilling to take on varied responsibilities beyond pure design work
