Residential Service Manager / Person in Charge (PIC)Location: GalwayContract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week)Salary: Competitive (DOE)About the RoleCpl Healthcare, on behalf of a leading disability services provider, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Service Manager / Person in Charge (PIC) to lead and manage a designated residential centre in Galway.This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services to people with disabilities and acquired brain injuries. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations and relevant legislation, while fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and operational management of the residential serviceAct as the registered Person in Charge (PIC) for the designated centreEnsure services meet the needs, wishes, and rights of service usersMaintain compliance with HIQA standards and all relevant legislationPromote safeguarding and protection of all residentsLead, support, and develop a large multidisciplinary staff teamManage resources effectively, including staffing, budgets, and facilitiesIdentify and manage operational risks and implement corrective actionsPromote a positive workplace culture aligned with organisational valuesWork closely with Regional Management and key stakeholdersParticipate in an on-call rota as requiredEssential RequirementsRelevant third-level qualification (NFQ Level 8) in Health or Social Care Management (or equivalent)Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management/supervisory role in health or social careStrong knowledge of HIQA regulations and compliance requirementsFull, clean driving licenceProven leadership and people management experienceExcellent organisational, communication, and IT skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentDesirable CriteriaExperience working with people with Acquired Brain InjuryMental health training or experienceCPI and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)Experience designing and implementing support programmesKey Skills and AttributesSolution-focused and proactive leadership styleStrong financial and analytical skillsCommitment to person-centred, inclusive service deliveryHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively across teams and servicesWhy Join Us?Opportunity to make a real difference in people's livesSupportive and values-driven organisationOngoing professional development opportunitiesCompetitive salary and benefitsCollaborative and inclusive working environmentTo apply, or for more information, please reach out to Zoe Lawlor -Email:Phone: 01 947 6238
