The role involves working with appropriate guidance to meet key technical requirements within defined timelines, while gradually taking on more challenging projects that contribute to ADI’s innovative product portfolio.LocationLimerick – IrelandResponsibilitiesWork as part of a mixed-signal design team based at our Limerick (Ireland) siteResolve moderately complex layout challenges requiring analysis and problem‑solvingExecute work with moderate guidance and clear, defined objectivesManage short-term, focused projects with well‑specified deliverablesProvide coaching or guidance to junior engineers as neededDesign and implement integrated circuit layouts of moderate complexityPerform timing extraction and analysis with increasing independenceUse EDA tools for layout and verification with growing proficiencyRequirementsLayout Fundamentals: Demonstrated competence in IC layout design principles and implementationTechnical Proficiency: Proficiency in IC layout, CMOS technology, timing analysis, and EDA toolsProcess Understanding: Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and device physicsBusiness Awareness: Understanding of how individual contributions impacts business objectivesCommunication Skills: Professional communication abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teamsPreferred Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of relevant experience#LI-CO1For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
