DCE IRL, a well-established Chartered Engineering Consultancy based in Dundalk, has a new vacancy for a Structural Engineering CAD / Revit Technician. Duties for the CAD / Revit Technician will include, but are not limited to the following: Working closely with design teams on construction plans Developing design ideas using CAD Software Research and obtain up-to-date standards and codes required Assisting in the inspection of buildings / construction on site Assisting in planning and building regulation approvals Work alongside a team of Engineers / Technicians Ensure that drawings correspond with client & project engineers' requirements Requirements: Hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or other 3rd Level Qualification, preferably with 5 years post-graduate experience. Knowledge of building and construction A good working knowledge of AutoCAD & Microsoft Office is essential A proven ability to work to strict deadlines Good AutoCAD drawing & basic design capabilities Previous experience in drawing production Fluency in English (written and oral) Ideally have a full clean Irish Driving License Personal Attributes: Creative Thinking and Design Skills Good communication skills Potential to work effectively under pressure Teamworking abilities Have the ability to follow instruction well Good attention to detail
