As part of our experienced team, the Support Pharmacist will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our busy dispensary.The main duties of this role include:

To operate the dispensary, following all the legal responsibilities of the profession of pharmacy.
To exercise all aspects of law, ethics and codes of practice as set out by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
To ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
To interact with other health professionals & work as part of a pharmacy team (dispensary, retail & online).
To support the Superintendent Pharmacist & Pharmacy Owners in following up on the claims rejected.
Any other projects and duties that arise.

The successful candidate will:

Have great business acumen & be customer-focused
Be highly organised & able to work under pressure & as part of a team
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Have an understanding of effective budget & stock management.
Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.

Essential CriteriaKnowledge and Experience required:

Must hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
Ability to deal with high-volume dispensing
