Are you fluent in German and looking to build a rewarding career in the insurance industry - even if you don't tick every box yet? We're looking for someone proactive, detail-focused, and ready to grow into the role of Underwriter / Claims Assessor?Your Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing applications and assessing claims for life and serious illness products
  • Making accurate and timely decisions, following internal guidelines and standards
  • Clearly explaining decisions to customers and advisers in a supportive, professional way
  • Collaborating with a variety of internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and helping us do things better every day
  • Maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude and acting with integrity in everything you do
Your Skillset and Experience
  • Fluent German (written and spoken) - this is essential
  • A couple of years' experience in underwriting or claims for life/serious illness insurance
  • - OR a medical background (e.g. nursing or medical degree)- OR a relevant business or industry qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organisational ability
  • Don't worry if you're still building your experience. If you bring the right mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn, we'll support you with training and mentorship.
Salary and Benefits
  • Strong base salary, depending on experience, in the range of €65,000 per year

  • Initial training period mainly office base, hybrid afterwards
