- Responsible for daily operations of a fast paced retail store.
- Responsible for looking after your own team, training needs, monitoring their performance, processing deliveries, placement of stock.
- Recruiting and developing the management and sales team.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensuring effective cost reduction and profit protection procedures are in place.
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Report to Area Manager daily
- Drive sales and maximise profit by analysing sales reports and targets
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
- Manage daily store operations by delegating efficiently and working with deployment plans
- Promote and maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Previous experience of management in a retail fashion store (preferably 2 years).
- Must have a strong work ethic and thrive under pressure.
- You should be highly motivated, energetic and show good leadership as part of a team.
- Must have experience in managing staff, doing rosters, deployment plans and having good delegation skills.
- Ability to analyse targets, kpis, trends, merchandising.
- Have a passion for delivering a good customer shopping experience
- Computer literate, POS, excel etc.
