- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and standards.
- Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation using BIM software for construction projects.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date BIM models that reflect design changes, specifications, and construction progress.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate their models into the overall BIM framework.
- Conduct clash detection analyses to identify and resolve conflicts between different building systems.
- Generate accurate quantity take-offs and schedules from BIM models to support estimating and project planning.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM-related tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless information flow between design and construction phases.
- Stay current with industry trends, BIM standards, and emerging technologies to enhance the BIM process.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and best practices within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a BIM Technician, preferably with a Tier 1 main contractor.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of BIM principles, processes, and industry standards.
- Ability to create and manage complex 3D models.
- Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot BIM-related issues.
- Commitment to staying updated on advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.
