Applicant will learn all aspects of the business including Data Capture, Telephone Skills, Business Adminstration and will receive a full indepth overview of Business Functions As a participant, you will get hands-on experience in different parts of the sales team including: • Learn to understand the sales process. Assist with and learning how to take customer calls and learn telephone techniques • Shadowing an existing team member to deal with customer queries/questions. • Gain practical experience in closing a sale. • Credit card training in order to learn how to take payments over the phone/set up subscriptions record the transactions correctly At the end of your training, you will have developed the following skills: Teamwork, problem solving, active listening skills. Gained experience in delivering clear communication, customer service, time management and attention to detail. The participant will also develop administrative, communication, and coordination skills while being mentored.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. The participant will receive formal/ informal training in the following Formal Training: • Credit card training • GDPR training • Health & Safety • WPEP QQI Work experience module and will be supported in any other certified training required. • Sales and Marketing Strategy Informal Training: • Working as part of a team • Communication training • Use of MS Word • Use of MS Excel • Use of Google Sheets • Time Management • Client Management
