Wicklow is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy packhouse environment.This is a leadership role that will require a proactive and organised individual with experience in food manufacturing. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality, and motivating a team to deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 20–25 production staff, including line leaders
- Drive productivity and performance across all areas of production
- Monitor and reduce waste through process improvement and training
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Oversee daily and weekly production planning and ensure KPIs are met
- Support audit preparation and quality system adherence
- Minimum of 2 years in a food production supervisory/management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of quality systems, food safety, and health & safety protocols
- Comfortable with administrative tasks, reporting, and KPI tracking
