- Ensure the site is laid out and maintained as per the logistics plan.
- Take particular account of all local regulations regarding Safety Provisions, Safety, Health and Welfare at Work when logistical arrangements are being developed and maintained for the construction phase of the project.
- Coordinate with the Deputy Construction Manager, Package Owners and Materials Controller to ensure all site deliveries are planned and coordinated.
- Ensure access routes (Traffic and Pedestrian routes) are clearly segregated and maintained and ensure they are in a safe working order
- Ensure any barriers erected are secure, labelled and being adhered to.
- Address any safety concerns in conjunction with the Safety Manger.
- Complete a minimum of five SOR’s and three SPA audits each week.
- Participate in the weekly safety audits as require by the rota.
- Ensure building and site cleaning program and waste management plan is in place and being adhered to.
- Ensure site boundary is in place and in good working order. Any deficiencies are to be rectified immediately.
- Ensure all materials stored in the contractors laydown area is done securely and safely.
- At least 10 years' experience in site logistics, site set-up and site management.
- Degree educated or a very strong trades' background.
