- Achieve goals in accordance with regional and national standards while making sure the best possible clinical care in occupational therapy is planned and provided.
- Professional standards are followed in the assessment, diagnosis, planning, execution, and evaluation of treatment and intervention programs for patients and residents.
- Goal-setting and treatment/intervention planning are done in cooperation with residents, family, caregivers, and other staff members.
- Take part in the healthcare and multidisciplinary team and collaborate and cooperate with other team members.
- Keep thorough clinical notes of all resident-related evaluations, interventions, and conversations.
- Assure effective and efficient services within a specified budgetary framework while providing occupational therapy services in a framework that complies with the law.
- Participate actively in the Clinical Governance Committee and help create and carry out operational and strategic plans.
- Possess an occupational therapy degree or a comparable credential and be qualified to join the AOTI.
- Be listed on the CORU Occupational Therapists Registration Board's Occupational Therapists Register.
- Possess a thorough awareness of the laws pertaining to health, safety, and other matters that impact healthcare organizations.
- Be a motivated team player with outstanding people abilities.
