Underwriter Product Manager

• Product and Portfolio Ownership: You'll be in charge of these insurance products, which means you'll need to understand all aspects of them, including how they affect pricing, customer satisfaction, and growth.
• Customer Focus: Ensuring that the insurance products meet the needs of the customers and comply with all relevant regulations.
• Underwriting Oversight: Leading the implementation of processes to ensure that the underwriting of these products follows company guidelines and standards.
• Budgeting and Planning: Contributing to the annual budgeting process and developing strategies and initiatives for the products.
• Data Analysis: Using management information (MI) to track performance and outcomes and taking action based on this analysis.
• Compliance Management: Managing acceptance criteria within the framework of underwriting governance to support the company's overall business strategy.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the underwriting process maintains high-quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.
• Team Support: Providing guidance and support to underwriting teams, helping them create clear plans for managing their portfolios and making sound underwriting decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with internal teams and external partners to achieve the objectives set for the insurance products.
• Industry Awareness: Keeping up-to-date with current and future trends in agriculture to ensure that the insurance products remain relevant and effective in meeting the evolving needs of customers.
