As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of continuous delivery of our SaaS offerings . Specifically, you'll help coordinate testing efforts and collaborate with global members of the team in an agile working environment. You will create test strategies, test plans, and execute them for both UI and REST APIs as a continuous effort for enhancing test effectiveness. You will perform all aspects of verification including functional, regression, and system testing. You will also design, implement, and maintain complex testing environments and troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing. You will be an ambassador and guide of product quality in the team and evangelize quality measures.The Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in software QA and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript test frameworks like Mocha or Jest.
- Proven ability in testing complex software systems in fast-paced environments.
- Solid experience testing REST APIs and analysing responses.
- Working knowledge of test automation for UI, API, and performance testing.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrable ability through completed projects and publicly available code (e.g., GitHub).
- Strong manual testing capabilities, with a solid understanding of test case design, defect reporting, and exploratory testing techniques.
- Experience with Playwright Framework and JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy
