The participant will receive full training in all aspects of the placement. There will be a mentor to guide and coach the participant. They will assist and learn the day-to-day tasks of the placement in the daily running and operations of a busy Gym, over the 6 months they will: - Assist with guidance on scheduling fitness classes and timetabling. - Assist membership administration and sales. - Training on Microsoft office training on Outlook, Word and Excel. - Training on communication skills and teamwork. - Train to assist with general Gym instruction. - Assist with Social Media/Marketing Training.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. The participant will receive formal training in the form of a Qualified First Aid Certification, Health & Safety along with Informal training including: - Customer service experience, - Assisting with gym tours and member inductions, - Shadowing personal training sessions and fitness classes, - Gaining hands-on experience with admin duties, using our systems for updating personal details, - Supporting with tours and gym inductions, The participant will also receive an Inclusive Obsession Membership to fully engage with and understand the facility from a member's perspective.
