Deliver technology & process improvements that bring to application to deliver measurable benefits.
Working with stakeholders to refine data requirement and roadmaps.
Drive innovation by testing new technology and approaches to continually advance the capability of the data engineering function.
Lead and Mentor the team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers.
To Scope, Design, build, test and implement tactical & strategic solutions.
Engage with stakeholders and provide insights and recommendations on process/system improvements that will support delivery & data strategy.
Utilizing SQL to create net new solutions, modify existing content and distribute the data to users and other systems.
Develop Data Standards and deploys automation tools to obtain and process data from different sources.
Drive the development, monitoring, review, and evaluation of new metrics, KPIs, key risk indicators, reports & dashboards, utilizing data discovery techniques across complex data sets. Building Azure Data services to support development activities (Azure SQL Server, ADF, Databricks) and some on-premises Microsoft SQL Database servers.
Provide recommendations to the development team regarding query optimization.
Project leadership as required.
Maintain & refine Data Backlog for Engineering team based on Stakeholder engagements & business Priorities.

Solid SQL experience, including experience with various Database technologies (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, Teradata etc.)
Proficient Python, Spark or PySpark experience
Experience in data ETL and blending tools
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally to individuals and groups.
Hands-on experience developing data pipelines that demonstrate a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building data pipelines on either AWS, Azure or GCP, following best practices in Cloud deployments
Understanding of system hardening, and threat and vulnerability management
Data migration projects / Dev-ops / Data-Dev-Ops / Query Optimization.
Proven track record in delivering technology driven solutions through full project life cycle
