Setting out
Taking information from drawings and ensuring operatives and subcontractors understand what is required
Testing materials
Recording daily activities and reporting on works progress
Attending meetings as required

You will need:

A third level qualification in Engineering
2+ years' experience in setting out
Previous experience working with a main contractor
Excellent communication skills
