This dynamic position combines delivery, furniture assembly and repair, warehouse operations, and customer issue resolution.The role comes with the opportunity to earn extra through incentives - OTE Salary of €36,800.Hours of work are 07:30 - 17:30 Mon-FriResponsibilities and Duties1) Furniture delivery and removal.2) Furniture repair & assembly (training given)3) The movement of furniture between various warehouse and shop locations4) Loads furniture onto vehicles, ensuring that items are arranged according to standard accepted practices and procedures to minimize shifting during transport; utilizes protective coverings and restraint devices, as necessary.5) Consistently interact with our customers in a courteous and professional manner.6) Review and organise all delivery routes.7) Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.8) Learn and develop skills to assemble furniture in a customer’s home as well as minor touch up’s and furniture repair.9) Work safely in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.10) Warehouse duties – may include receiving and processing products, managing and moving stock.Qualifications and skills:1) A minimum of 1 year of experience driving long wheelbase vans2) Must be comfortable reading maps and operating GPS units3) Aptitude & willingness to learn4) Excellent timekeeping5) Good communication skills with customers and the service team6) Good logistic awareness and the ability to problem solve.7) Full clean drivers license8) Ability to work as part of a team9) Ability to consistently lift/move furniture, bedding, and accessories.Why Join the Michael Murphy Team?
