We are recruiting a Senior Architect (1-2 office days a week in Mayo) for a social enterprise of architects, urbanists and policy specialists working to accelerate the green transition.Are you an Architect looking to work in a bold, creative, young practice that is expanding the role of architecture to meet the challenges of today?An award-winning practice of architects, designers and policy specialists whose mission it is to help build a more sustainable future for people and planet through the development of exemplary sustainable buildings and urban spaces.Our projects aim to inspire others and demonstrate the Green Transition on all scales of the built environment. We design buildings, infrastructure, urban space to minimise negative environmental impact and maximised social and environmental value and are keen to collaborate with others who share our ambition for the future.We are now looking for a Senior Architect to join our team in Ballina on Ireland's West Coast.The successful candidate will work closely with the team on a range of exciting, design-led residential and public projects, and will be involved across all project stages, from concept to site. The successful candidate will be supported with training in sustainable practices in a position that offers a clear pathway for professional progression.The ideal candidate will have:
  • RIAI Part 3 Qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience, including onsite experience
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed construction and tender drawings
  • Excellent working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR
  • Interest in building sustainability and circularity
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality, buildable solutions
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Candidates must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budgets on time
