Duration: PermanentChartered Senior Structural Engineer (4+ years)A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is hiring a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to lead building and infrastructure projects across residential, commercial and public sectors. The role combines hands-on structural design with coordination of teams, clients and contractors from concept through to construction.Key responsibilities
- Lead structural design for concrete, steel, masonry and timber building projects.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers and project managers to deliver complete design packages.
- Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
- Support site stages, including technical queries, submittal reviews and inspections.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland or equivalent).
- Degree in Structural or Civil & Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 4+ years' structural design experience in an Irish consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, Irish standards and regulations.
- Good communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Senior role with progression towards wider leadership responsibilities.
