Accounts AssistantWe are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at The Hardiman Hotel Galway, a distinguished 4-star hotel located in the heart of Galway city. Known for its exceptional hospitality, The Hardiman Hotel offers a wide range of services, from luxurious getaways and weddings to conferencing and leisure breaks. As part of the Choice Hotel Group, we are proud to be part of a leading global collection of renowned hotels.This role is based at The Hardiman Hotel Galway, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The role will involve duties for both The Hardiman & The House Hotel.A competitive salary will be provided, based on your experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank and Cash Reconciliations
  • Creditor/Debtors Reconciliations
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and numerical skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Desirable Experience:
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with Procure Wizard, Sage 50 and Opera Cloud
