Excel Recruitment is actively looking for a permanent multidrop driver for a wholesale distribution company in Cork city.This is a permanent role.Licence Requirements: Category C, Valid CPC, Digital Tachograph CardRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join our distribution team in Cork City. The role involves multi-drop deliveries to customers across the region, ensuring goods are transported safely, on time, and in excellent condition.This is a customer-facing role that requires a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious driver with strong knowledge of transport compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out daily multi-drop deliveries within Cork City and surrounding areas.Ensure safe loading, transport, and unloading of goods.Carry out vehicle checks and maintain records in line with legal requirements.Comply with road transport legislation, tachograph, and CPC obligations.Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.Work closely with the transport office and follow scheduled routes and instructions.Report any vehicle defects, delays, or issues promptly.RequirementsEssential:Full C Licence.Valid CPC Card and up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card.Previous multi-drop delivery experience.Good knowledge of Cork City routes and regional roads.Strong customer service and communication skills.Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends.Desirable:Experience with refrigerated vehicles or specialised goods.Forklift licence (advantage).What We OfferPermanent, full-time position with competitive salary.Overtime opportunities.Paid training and ongoing CPC modules.Ideal CandidateYou are a skilled rigid driver who enjoys a fast-paced role with regular customer interaction.
