• Lead the development of comprehensive project briefs in collaboration with services, capital & estates personnel, and advisors.
• Ensure understanding of project briefs by all involved parties in appropriate detail.
• Manage consultation processes, meetings, and activities essential for project completion.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permissions, licenses, certificates, and approvals.
• Act as a senior administrative officer, addressing issues for quick resolution and agreement.
• Define requirements for design services, buildings, and equipment.
• Advise on the selection of Design Teams, professional services, and Contractors for Capital Projects.
• Manage procurement processes and prepare specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
• Develop proposals with design teams and contractors, creating action plans for contract completion.
• Supervise staff and contractors in implementing agreed programs.
• Collaborate with service management to establish and support the equipping/commissioning team.
• Manage and control project timescales, budgets, and quality standards.

• Hold a relevant level 8 bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying
• Full Membership of relevant professional associations (SCSI, RICS, Engineers Ireland, RIAI).
• Seven years of relevant experience in planning, design, project management, or construction.
• Possess requisite knowledge and administrative capacity for the role.
• Fully competent, capable of undertaking duties, and in good health and character.
• Access to appropriate transport is necessary due to travel between sites.
