Transaction Reporting Manager

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure effective delivery of daily SFTR and MiFIR reports and oversight of EMIR.
Ensure remediation and resubmission of transactions within Regulatory deadlines or agreed timeframes.
Build and manage effective relationships with all internal stakeholders and partners.
Build and manage effective relationships and provide oversight of vendor partners.
Work closely with internal and external data owners to ensure high quality source data and SLAs are adhered to.
Continually challenge processes and implement robust testing and reconciliation protocols.
Perform regular risk and control assessments. Record and demonstrate a robust control environment, and work to remedy failing, missing or inadequate controls.
Ensure maintenance and appropriate evolution of detailed procedures and operating model documentation.

Experience Required:

Excellent detailed knowledge of SFTR, MIFIR, EMIR Refit and Shareholding Disclosures experience is desirable.
Excellent and proven excel skills with ability to understand and write VBA macros an advantage.
Experience in all instrument classes across a wide range of markets.
Solid analytical, problem-solving skills and is willing and capable of reading, digesting and interpreting Regulations, Directives and regulatory guidance including ESMA Q&As.
Proven ability to analyse current and future regulatory requirements and translate them into practical implications for the Firm.
Experience in using the following tools and platforms: DTCC; CBI ONR, Kaizen.
Experience of operating in an environment where multiple trading platforms /mechanisms are used.
Experience of working on regulatory reporting and business-wide projects
