We are seeking a highly motivated Electronic Engineer to join our innovative team in Galway. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of electronic systems for advanced medical device solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Design & PCB Layout: Design and develop electrical circuits and perform PCB layout for medical device applications.
- Micro Bonding Expertise: Apply knowledge of epoxy and solder micro bonding in the assembly and integration of electronic components.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose, analyze, and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production devices.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct electrical testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant electrical and medical device standards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, quality, and manufacturing engineers, to achieve project goals.
- Documentation: Prepare design documentation, test reports, and technical files to support regulatory submissions.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical circuit design and PCB layout.
- Strong knowledge of micro bonding techniques (epoxy & solder).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with electrical standards and regulatory requirements (experience in medical devices is an advantage).
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
