Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time & Agency / Flexible Shifts AvailableWe are seeking Healthcare Assistants to support residents living in residential and nursing home settings. These roles involve providing person-centred, dignified care as part of a structured clinical team.Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including mobility, personal care, nutrition and comfort
- Promote independence, dignity, privacy and respect in all interactions
- Support residents to engage in social, recreational and therapeutic activities
- Observe, record and report changes in resident wellbeing to nursing staff
- Contribute to a positive, safe and supportive care environment
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with care plans and regulatory standards
- QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare Support (or working toward completion)
- Understanding of person-centred care principles
- Reliable, compassionate and respectful approach to care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in residential, nursing home, intellectual disability or community support environments
- Dementia care training or equivalent upskilling
