FRS Recruitment are now working in collaboration with Brett Brother s (The Brett Group) as their Recruitment partner.Indeed, The Brett Group is one of Ireland’s leading millers and grain merchants, handling 75,000 tonnes of native grain and marketing 160,000 tonnes of animal feed throughout the South East. We wish to recruit an experienced T echnical Sales Representative to service an existing and expanding customer base.Our client has been supporting the farming community for over 80 years and in that period of time they have made a significant contribution to the Irish Agri food industry. If you have a particular interest in animal nutrition and seeking a field based role we would be very interested in hearing from you. You will be joining a very established team, and you will receive excellent support, coaching & training on an ongoing basis.You will have responsibility for an existing & established customer base and over-time you will build long term business relationships with some very progressive customers in dairy & beef sectors.If you are living in the Waterford, Wexford, South Kilkenny or South Tipperary area we would be very interested in hearing from you.Full product training and technical support will be provided.Duties to include.

Provide nutritional advice to farmers on diet formulation.
Assist with soil sampling and nutrient management plans around grass & fertiliser.
Provide sales support & technical backup on a range of farm inputs to include chemicals & milk replacer.
Working to agreed sales targets and assisting in money collection for month end.
Attend national agricultural shows.
Work as part of a team and attend business meetings when required.

Candidate profile

Have technical knowledge, sales and advisory skills
Willing to work hard to succeed in a rapidly changing market-place
Previous commercial experience, with a proven track record, is preferable
A qualification relevant to our industry is desirable but not essential
Highly motivated and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
