- Collaborate within a global cross-functional team, including Engineering, Marketing, the Commercial Business, and others, throughout the entire product development and launch process.
- Analyse the competitive landscape, explore market trends, and interpret customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and problem-solving. Assess new technologies and provide recommendations for potential incorporation into future products.
- Gather worldwide customer, developer, and channel requirements for upcoming product development and exert influence over the product roadmap and priorities, handling trade-offs concerning features, schedule, and positioning.
- Develop business cases for future investment strategies within the product line.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Connectivity, Data, the Commercial Business, and other cross-functional stakeholders during product development. As the product champion, provide feedback on feature benefits and user experience to align with storytelling objectives.
- Foster collaboration with Product Marketing, Marketing, and the Commercial Business, as well as a diverse group of other Cubic employees, to effectively launch new products and updates.
- Establish product positioning and key messaging. Lead all outbound marketing efforts, including product documentation, keynote presentations, marketing materials, web content, sales training materials, user support, and other product information to ensure consistent and clear positioning and messaging.
- Take ownership of, monitor, and closely manage the measurement of product Go-To-Market and in-life performance through KPIs (financial and non-financial).
- A minimum of 4 years in product management, product marketing, or related industry roles. Preference given to candidates with experience in Automotive or IoT Connectivity products.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including other product teams, engineering, commercial business, PR, marketing, legal, and regulatory teams, to define and introduce compelling offerings for customers.
- Demonstrated experience in enhancing the commercial performance of a product within the market.
- Experience in developing and fostering partner strategies and engagement.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in effectively advocating to both upper management and external stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in crafting product messaging and developing outward-facing marketing materials, including keynote presentations and other collateral.
- The role involves both domestic and international travel.
