Who We Are:(CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.Description:Executive Assistant Grade VIIPurpose of the Role:The Grade VII Executive Assistant will provide high-level executive, administrative and project support to the CEO of Children's Health Ireland. This role requires exceptional discretion, organisational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information. The Executive Assistant will act as a key liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, supporting the efficient running of the CEO’s office and contributing to the delivery of CHI’s strategic and operational priorities.Essential Criteria:· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive support or comparable role in a complex organisation.· Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing demands.· Proven ability to work with senior executives and stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.· High-level written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting correspondence and preparing documentation for senior-level audiences.· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.· Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative and exercise sound judgement.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint).· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.How to Apply and Informal Enquiries:Applications for this post must be accompanied by a cover letter, setting out relevant experience that illustrates how the essential criteria listed above is met.The criterion for short listing is based on the requirements of the post, as outlined in the eligibility criteria.
