Start Date: ASAPStelfox is currently hiring multiple mid to senior-level Oracle professionals on behalf of a leading client based in Dublin, Ireland. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development.Key responsibilities:
- Develop enhancements to existing functionality and architectural improvements to the system. Periodically troubleshoot and support the components.
- Enhance existing system functionality and architecture while providing periodic troubleshooting and support for key components.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with business requirements and ensure timely story sign-off.
- Contribute to application design, regression test automation and other efficiency initiatives, as well as actively participating in all agile ceremonies.
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c or 19C with strong experience coding PL/SQL procedures and functions.
- SQL performance tuning experience.
- Solid Object-oriented design and architectural understanding.
- Excellent communication and global team collaboration.
- Ownership mindset with a focus on quality and delivery.
- Commercial experience of Python.
- UNIX or Linux experience.
- Microsoft Visual Studio C# .NET experience.
- C# experience developing Windows applications as opposed to pure web development.
- GIT/Bitbucket.
- Quartz Python development experience.
- Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of Agile and Lean software development practices and associated tools.
- Automated test tools.
- SQL Server.
