Assistant Accountant

- Prepare and post accounting journals including accruals and prepayments for Irish SPVs
- Complete bank reconciliations and post related journals
- Assist with annual financial statements preparation under IFRS or local GAAP
- Support audit preparation and resolve audit queries
- Prepare routine monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Liaise with banks, asset servicers, auditors, and other third parties
- Assist with corporation tax, VAT returns, and regulatory filings
- Contribute to process improvements within the team
- Part qualified ACCA/CPA accountant actively pursuing qualification with clear intention to qualify within 3 years
- Minimum 1 year relevant accounting trainee experience in a financial services or accounting firm environment
- Solid understanding of accounting debits/credits and general ledger postings
- Advanced Excel skills and proficient with MS Office
- Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude, flexible, and eager to learn
