We offer competitive salaries, financial support for further training, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) leading to chartered status, performance incentives and the ability to progress your career with a world class engineering contractor.Job Description:The Civil Engineer will provide support to the project site teams in providing expertise in various elements such as QA, design support and ensuring compliance with the relevant specifications and performing testing/commissioning/Recording to deliver large scale Renewable Energy Infrastructure Projects. The Civil Engineer will report directly to the Civil Project Manager. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to the renewable energy and construction sectors.Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the site teams to ensure the quality delivery of projects
  • Performing quality audits on a regular basis to ensure quality is being met and specifications are adhered to
  • Liasing with Civil and Structural designers to resolve onsite design queries.
  • Recording site records • Documentation management
  • Progress and quality reporting
  • Procurement of site materials
  • Provide assistance during commissioning & handover (including snagging, as built documentation, preparation of Safety file etc.)
The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.Skills and Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering qualification.
  • Being able to work within a team and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • IT literate with the ability to operate MS office systems.
  • Willingness to travel to sites • Autocad experience required.
  • Setting out experience and advantage.
